Rangers International Football Club of Enugu have been crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season following a hard-fought 2–1 victory away to Ikorodu Boys United in Lagos.

The Enugu-based “Flying Antelopes” sealed the title in dramatic fashion after finishing top of the table on the final day of the season, capping off a strong campaign with a decisive away performance.

Rangers took control of the encounter through a brilliant brace from Chidiebere N’obodo, whose goals proved enough to secure all three points and confirm the club’s league triumph.

The result handed Rangers their second NPFL title in three years and their ninth league championship in the club’s illustrious history.

The victory sparked celebrations among supporters of the Enugu giants, who have once again reasserted their dominance in Nigerian domestic football.
