Hon. Ifeanyichukwu Nnamani has received the National Exemplary Leadership Award at the Enugu Skill Fest 2026, where he also announced a land donation to young participants as part of efforts to promote youth entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
The Director-General of the Ifeanyichukwu Campaign Organization (ICO), Hon. Chuks Nneji, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday, September 20, 2026, following the youth development summit organised by the Youth Awakening and Development Initiative (YADI) at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Enugu.
Nneji said the event brought together thousands of young entrepreneurs and innovators for a programme focused on human capital development, financial empowerment and leadership recognition.
According to him, Nnamani, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Enugu State House of Assembly and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Earthcore Mining and Energy Resources Limited, was honoured for his contributions to youth empowerment and development.
The award, Nneji said, recognised what he described as Nnamani’s “exceptional contributions to youth empowerment and development.”
Also honoured at the event were Hon. Barr. Duke Chidi Nwafor and Hon. Engr. Samuel Okoro, Special Adviser to the Enugu State Governor on Solid Minerals, Mining and Energy Resources, who received Iconic Leadership Awards for their roles in public resource management and youth-focused development.
Nneji said Nnamani subsequently moved beyond the recognition to provide direct support to young participants, announcing a personal donation of a plot of land to a group of youths who participated in the real estate exhibition at the event.
The gesture, according to the statement, was designed to provide the beneficiaries with a foundation to establish independent businesses in the real estate sector.
The campaign organisation said the empowerment initiative generated enthusiasm among participants, with several young attendees expressing support for the administration of Governor Peter Mbah and the APC.
The statement described the development as a demonstration of the connection between leadership recognition and practical youth empowerment.
